We stand by you
First of all, the VGP community hopes you, your colleagues and your loved ones are doing well. We know that you are watching the development of the coronavirus pandemic with deep concern and uncertainty. Please know that we stand by you in these difficult times.
Since the outbreak our Company has been monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
Safety comes first
It is our moral duty to live up to our social responsibility to prevent this virus from spreading further. With the full support of our Plant Managers and HR team, we have been implementing extraordinary preventive measures groupwide - fully in line with the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations - and we continuously adapt our local guidelines to the respective local governments’ decisions. We see to it that all these guidelines are respected with utmost care. Our first priority is to keep our stakeholders safe.
You can count on us
As we are playing a very important role in the supply chain with the packaging we produce for food and other consumables, we maintain production operations groupwide.
Since day one we have increased our focus on supply chain to secure our service towards our customers and their consumers as much as possible. Our teams continue to work hard and show flexibility to ensure business continuity as usual. The monitoring of the available capacity is part of our daily routine, and our sales team stays in close contact with our customers to guide them towards the best options.
In addition, the European carton board & folding carton associations are in contact with the European Commission to ensure priority movement of freight for essential industry, including packaging.
Special thanks
My sincere gratitude goes to all our employees for their loyal commitment and for taking responsibility in these demanding circumstances.
We keep on doing our utmost to facilitate business continuity in collaboration with our customers and strategic partners, as a team.
Stay safe and healthy.
